I purchased this a year or so ago. Worked great. Better than using cubes when you want to get the Joe up to temp quickly. Unfortunately it just stopped working. Acts like there is a short because the breaker flips as soon as you plug it in. Took it apart to see if I could see something obvious, but nothing unusual. Wires look good and solder connectors look fine. Pretty simple device, so it's a mystery. Would like to know if others have had similar issue.

I hesitated buying this since I wasn’t really having trouble starting my KJ with the starter blocks, but WOW does this work great. SO much faster than the blocks and it seems to get the lump burning better than the starters. Takes only a few minutes.
