[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these porous lava rocks to go around my tree along with other varieties of stone. They do appear more red when put against other rocks and after they've been wet. They are mostly uniform in shape, being spherical or oval. I don't believe any of these stones were broken up too much when I poured them around the tree. These would be very nice along a path.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Red Lava Pebbles are the real deal. They are legitimate red lava pebbles formed from an active volcano meets ocean action. Once that action happens, these pebbles are formed! Then once collected, they are tumbled, bagged and ready to go! They can be used in any fire type situation that uses natural gas or propane, just making your fire piece look amazing! They are high quality and will not break down and will not crumble! I even put a few around my cactuses cause it just made them look stunning in their pot too. .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to give these Red Lava Pebbles 5 stars since my little 5 year old grandson is thrilled that we have them since he is all about volcanoes and lava and can't believe we have "real lava from a real volcano" in our own yard. They are pretty cool looking and I'm glad we decided on them for the location they are going in. They seem to be pretty sturdy as my grandson wanted to see the inside of them and it took my husband several whacks with a hammer to get them to break open. If you're looking for something reddish to complement your landscape, these are your rocks.

We used them for our fire pit, they look great, and help distribute the heat evenly, which is the purpose. Also look beautiful when wet, so as landscape decoration they are great, also along an outdoor path, and to decorate indoor plants and flowers.

I have an area that pushes my mulch back when it rains, so I added the pebbles there and they matched pretty close to my mulch and I no longer have a blank spot when it rains. Definitely would purchase more.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely will be getting more to place around my propane fire pit. After a few fires I've noticed they definitely don't crumble apart and keep the look they came with. Adds a great look to firepits especially at night with flame.
