This small greenhouse is what I need along the side of my garage. It will work well for starting seedlings in the spring. It should hold up well because it is in a protected area. The wooden frames for the panels are very lightweight. It is not sturdy enough for an exposed area, or in heavy rain or wind. It’s quite expensive for the moderate quality of the product. All parts were received with adequate instructions. It is not easy to construct.

The product is great. Exactly what I was looking for. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. I assembled it outdoors on a very cold, windy day and I bought corner brackets to attach the shelves to the sides. The unit was racking because of the wind and this helped stabilize it. Before putting in each bracket, I made sure the doors aligned properly. The pieces fit together perfectly. I did Step 4 at the very end as I wanted to be sure the doors closed well before putting in those screws. I have the greenhouse outside, adjacent to a fence. So, I screwed an 18 inch long piece of plywood, 2 inches wide on each side, protruding out by 2 inches, made a small hole, passed a wire through it and attached it to the fence. This minimized the possibility of it being affected by wind. It looks great, keeps heat in well and is fully populated with plants. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

I found the greenhouse a great value. Took a few hours to put together with only a screwdriver. The manual has very few words which was a bit disconcerting at first, but the key was to realize every part has a number printed on it. And the bags of screws and latches and other metal parts all have letters on them. The greenhouse is easy to put together and I would say is of moderate weight, which is both good and (maybe) bad. Good in that it’s easy to construct and carry (you’ll need 2 people after it’s been assembled). And perhaps less than ideal because it could blow away in a strong wind. However, I appreciate the fact that the greenhouse has a latch on the door and two latches on the roof to secure the openings. I also appreciate the fact that it’s made of real wood so I was able to secure it by screwing the crosspieces it into my wooden fence with a few extra screws. I recommend the same if you can do it too. All in all, a great value for the price. Now it’s time to learn how to grow things with it since I am a greenhouse newbie.

This nifty greenhouse is just what we needed to get the summer succulents out of the frost. We did add a coat of waterproofing. It wasn’t hard to put together and is sturdy enough to last several seasons. We think we got good value for the price.

This unit is a good size and will house many plants, much larger than others out there.

It’s an attractive piece. A 16 year old neighbor assembled it in 90 minutes. He’s got engineer in his future just saying. I am 70. I applied 3 coats of sealer to waterproof it. I usually start seed indoors then harden outdoors. This is zone 5 a suburb of Chicago. Initially it faced west - too hot. Then moved to face north and it’s perfect. Regarding its sturdiness. Sufficient enough although I doubt it could withstand a Chicago winter. I added weight to the 2nd shelf to combat a litany of weather that rolls through. Overall I like it.

I was really excited to receive my new greenhouse but was immediately disappointed in how cheaply it’s made. Everything is flimsy and within a few weeks, it’s already showing major “wear and tear”. For the price, I expected better quality. I don’t think this will last through the season.
