(This review was collected as part of a promotion. I received this griddle a couple weeks ago and have used it twice…..had NO idea how versatile it would be! Family brunch with pancakes and bacon on the griddle outside was SO fun and cooked it all beautifully ……and made me feel like a diner chef ☺️Here is stir fry veggies and chicken burgers home made, responded to temp changes really well and cooked perfectly !! Glad I didn’t rush to buy a Blackstone griddle, this cooks amazing !

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I had been looking to get an outdoor griddle but was concerned about space as I already have 3 grills. So it was great to receive an offer to test and review a griddle insert. It was surprisingly heavy and well constructed. As you can see from the pictures there are welded cross members underneath which I presume is to minimize flexing when it heats up. It's thick gauge steel and will last forever. It is difficult to clean in a typical kitchen sink and could get messy trying to clean it while its in the grills. It fits the grill (825RBSI) pretty well. There is a space on each side, which I presume its so you don't get your fingers caught/trapped while dropping in the insert. I saw alot of great pictures of breakfast, so I figured I would test it out as a teppanyaki grill. Made some kimchi fried rice and a grilled eel (precooked). It turned out great and no worries of stinking up the house from the cooking. As you can see the grill will be a pain to clean. Hopefully with more practice, I can get it to be more non-stick while cooking.

This thing is beautiful. 1-well made 2-easy to start using 3-large grilling area 4-solid construction So I used this thing for the first time and it was a fun time. This is a great addition to my grilling area. The only down fall is that when you add this I would love a bigger grease trap. But other than that this accessory is one of the best

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Do it. If you are reading this, you visited this page because you already want one. Get yourself an early birthday present. Get yourself an early Christmas present. Father's Day is coming! Get yourself one because you work hard and deserve it. Heck, even if you dont have a Napoleon grill, buy one and toss this in the cart too. You won't regret it if you do, but you will regret it if you don't. I fired up the griddle for the first time and made my family a nice chicken and shrimp stir fry. I wanted to start small before diving into the world of smash burgers and grilled tacos. Plus - mid-week, healthy. Right? I don't even like stir fry. Rice just isnt in my arsenal. That night, I had 3 plates and licked the serving spoon clean like I was a ravenous, cockerspaniel. The size of the griddle is ideal. It fits perfectly with my Prestige 500 and the square footage provides plenty of cook space. Made from heavy duty stainless steel, it feels like something Clint Eastwood (or Marty McFly) would strap to his chest before a highnoon fire fight. The ledges around the outside help avoid any mess. It was easy to season and get going for that first cook. I love it. I toyed with the idea of buying a griddle for some time but in succumbing to my indecisiveness, bought a new grill instead. I absolutely love my grill but my mind longed for more. I had a sear station at home but wanted smash burgers too. Who doesn't want to cook bacon and eggs while enjoying the great outdoors? Enter this griddle. The best of both worlds and I mean the BEST. Treat yourself friend, you deserve it.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion. I’ve been a huge fan of Napoleon since I got my Phantom 500 grill, so I was excited when they sent me a Stainless-Steel Griddle Insert (56094 to review. Right away, I noticed how heavy-duty it is—much more substantial than trays I’ve tried to use before. It replaces the grill grates, and fits almost edge-to-edge on the Phantom 500. And since this works with my existing grill, it eliminates the need for a separate propane griddle, saving space on my deck. My first cook was a big breakfast: smashed sausage patties, bacon, eggs, pancakes, and then later; sliders with fried onions. Everything cooked beautifully and released easily from the surface, making cleanup a breeze. The top rack fits fine with the insert too, which was great to confirm. Next, I used it for sliders—frying onions, cooking the beef, and toasting buns all at once. It’s hands down the easiest and tastiest way to make burgers. This griddle provides significantly more surface area to cook on than a collection of frying pans on the stove, and is the reason you really need one of these. The heat retention is excellent, and it looks like it’ll handle two-zone cooking well once I fine-tune that skill. Overall, I’m very impressed with the quality and expect this griddle to be a well used accessory for years to come.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion. I was chosen to be a product tester and reviewer. The first item I have be given to review is Napoleon's 56094 Griddle. I have never used a Griddle before so this was a true learning curve. I have used my BBQ to cook many things over the years, pies yorkshire puddings etc... I use my bbq at least 4 to 5 times a week. So adding a griddle intrigued me. The item is heavy as it is solid Stainless Steel my husband had to install it for me. The instructions were easy to follow and installation was easy. I do wish they had cleaning instuctions. Which would have been helpful. I have seasoned Cast Iron in the past so I choose to season the griddle. Having now made to meals on it I am not sure it was necessary. I choose smash burgers and grilled potatoes and veggies for 6 people. I used Crisco oil as a lubricant. IT ALL COOKED GREAT! See attached pictures. I did find that there were a few hot spots. But I used that to my advantage to caramelize the burgers to perfection. Nothing stuck not the potatoes, or the onions nothing! It was awesome. The size of the griddle accommodated 6 burgers and veggies. Then next night I made a stirfry. Chicken thighs in a sticky Teriyaki sauce. Again nothing Stuck to the grill I am impressed. Because I have never used a grill I was nervous to try to clean it. but after some research I learned a squirt bottle with hot water and a grill scraper made that job easier. I wish those to items were included in with the griddle as you really need them to maintain your griddle. This is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5. Overall I am pleased and look forward to experimenting more.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion. First before i review the product, i would love to explain how heavy Duty this Stainless Steel Griddle Insert is. I was impress by how thick & heavy it is and it does look like it will be lasting longer then i will. Now let's get down to the usage of it and the perks of this thing. I was happy that it did fit in my Napoleon Prestige Pro 500 very very well. So i opted for trying a variety of things to get the vibe and see the results. I tackled some Ribs and i took about 1H15 Min ish to cook it with this tool. I Put a mustard base & Added spices and flipped it every 10 Minutes or so and spraying it with Vinegar mix with apple juice every time i turned it. I did slice Potatoes, drizzled with olive oil and added different spices. i also put on the griddle some Halloumi Cheese and just for exploring the breakfast idea for future use ... i added one egg. All of the items were very easy to handle and nothing felt at the base of the BBQ .. I did not needed any Foil paper and open it to see if the potatoes were done .. one of the big bonus of this was that there was ZERO flames touching my food .. and any BBQ master out there will tell you that having the flames to touch your food is not advisable. So very please with this and cannot wait to tackle breakfast, bacon, chicken, corn and much much more. This Griddle Insert makes it WAY easier to put lots of options without having 4 foil wrapped food and flames continuously touching your food. Highly recommended. The only thing is that i wish my kitchen sink would be a little bit larger to fit this griddle insert. hihi

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I have had the good fortune of receiving this product as part of the Napoleon testing program. Last year I purchased a rogue 525S and this is one of the accessories I had my eye on so needless to say I was excited when offered the opportunity to test it out. When I received the product the first thing I noticed was the weight it was heavy but it speaks to the quality of how it is constructed. I chose to season it per the manufacturers instructions using oil it was very straightforward and rendered good results. Over the next couple weeks I found several ways to utilize the griddle for meals through out the day from bacon eggs and hash browns for breakfast to smash burgers at lunch and chicken fried rice / fajitas for dinner I found it has enough space to cook for a family of 5 at one time. The best quality is the equal heat distribution across the griddle that makes cooking in larger quantities easier. Two things I would recommend being aware of prior to purchasing are 1, ensure your grill is on as level ground as possible and 2, the need for storage space when not in use it is a large heavy griddle. It has been easy to clean thus far, having a good scraper to get in corners goes a long way. All in all I am looking forward to finding different ways to utilize the griddle.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I had been considering getting a cast iron griddle insert for my Prestige Pro 500 for some time, when Napoleon reached out to me through the Taster Team and asked that I test and review this Stainless Steel Griddle Insert. I was thrilled and more than happy to accept. First, I was impressed at how easy it is to put it into the grill, thanks to the large handles on the sides. Just remove your grates and pop this in, and it fits easily and confidently. There's a small gap on either side of the griddle, but it also has high sides so there's not much concern about food dropping off the sides. Before first use, I seasoned it by putting the heat on low, spreading a thin layer of oil, and letting it go for 20 minutes. Heat off til cool, and then I was ready to make the first meal: smash burgers. Once hot, I put on some oil and dropped on some onions. after 20 minutes of tossing them around, I had beautifully fried onions. Nothing sticking, nothing burnt. Then I got the right side extra hot and smashed some burgers down. They turned out extra crispy and just spectacular. My wife remarked they were amongst the best burgers she's ever had. The next night, we had some vegetarian guests coming over, so I decided to make some veggie fajitas. This thing handled 5 large onions and 4 bell peppers with ease. It's so easy to cook evenly when you have this much space. It's like playing with a 40" frying pan. Cleanup is super easy, just spray water on and scrape everything into the drains at the top. Although the drip pan needs cleaning very often as a result. This has transformed my grill into something twice as useful. I'm excited to make breakfast, pancakes, Rubens, quesadillas, pizza, cheesesteaks, hibachi, and so much more. And when I need to grill, switching back to the grates isn't difficult. I do need to figure out where to store this thing though. Overall, I'm thrilled with this thing, and I couldn't recommend it more!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion. I got the stainless steel griddle from Napoleon free of charge in order to test it out and review, by the review is my own and unbiased. That said, I kind of love this griddle! It's heavy and solid, so I'm going to need to think about where I keep it. Probably on the grill until I need it griddle-free. My first try with the griddle was very simple- doing a package of maple bacon. Verdict? Awesome! So much better than in frying pan on the stove and way faster than using the oven. I cut my bacon in two (better did sandwiches but quickly had the one problem I experienced with the griddle: I lost a piece down one of the grease drains because it for perfectly. User error on my part. I had the griddle on medium low and was able to do the bacon in a little under 4 minutes a side. Perfect, crispy and golden. Can't wait to give it a go with smash burgers, and maybe some stir fried veggies.
