Pleasant Hearth Lava Rock

Smaller than I thought rocks would me. Not your fault.

These lava rocks are pretty small, so on our burner, which sits at an angle, they are just too light to stay put. I carefully arranged them trying to keep them from falling, but the first fire sent some of them off anyway, so I had a pile of lava rock in front of the burner. I then ordered some larger rocks, and will use these small ones to fill in the gaps, hoping the larger ones will keep these in place better.

Glad I bought an extra bag to go with my ceramic log set. It definitely came in handy and I used them all plus what was in the set.

came in just when they said it would. I haven't used them yet waiting for the installer
