This umbrella is exactly what I needed for my apartment patio. Makes the patio useable now midday when the sun is beating down. The handle to raise/lower is a plastic crank that looks a little cheap but actually works really well. Overall impressed with the quality for the price and would recommend.

The idea is so great but not sturdy or easy to manipulate to protect from the sun

Fits pretty well on my balcony where there is no shade
