I bought this as a gift so I don't have a lot of experience with the quality. However, I did open it to check it out and it is very difficult to fold back up to put in the carrying case. My daughter truly loves it, but the materials are not that great so I can’t give it 5 stars. The wood pieces have a very strong paint smell and they chipped very easily. I’m very worried that my daughter my get splinters so I might get some epoxy or something and apply over them. The holes for the metal holders on the side panels are too big so they don’t stay in place. I think using super glue or wood glue can help them stay in place better. Overall assembly wasn’t too hard. We love the playhouse and so does my granddaughter. I rated it a four which I really think it is a four and a half because the food shown in the picture did not come with the playhouse and we have been unable to find the exact food pictured especially the kabobs even on your site. Calling this a "pop-up" tent is a bit of a misnomer. There are actually 4 tent poles that have to be put inside. I basically had to put the tent over my head and go inside to put the poles in place, though it was easy enough. right now, my son is too young to use it, but once he is, i can see him accidentally pulling one of the poles out while playing inside, so, something to keep in mind..
