Easy to assemble. It was a quick 4 step process. The swing is light weight but sturdy. The seat is deep and wide enough for two people. The color is a black wash as shown in the picture. This swing is nice and comfortable with a thick cushion and an extra one for the head. There were some extra screws and they weren’t properly labeled on the instructions, I was surprised but how hard this was to put together given that it had very few pieces. The metal wholes didn’t match and for a girl alone it was a challenge. The seat and the foot came in different packages, but once you get over the putting it together part, it looks great! This swing is perfect ! It has a very sturdy construction and a beautiful look for my porch. It is so relaxing to sit in as the cushions are very lush. I received the swing VERY quickly and the assembly was quite easy since the back and the seat were pre-assembled. I did need extra eye hooks and chains to suspend the swing, but that was to be expected. It was hard to find an outdoor piece that came in dark gray versus black, white or brown.
