I bought this hammock and stand for my husband for Father’s Day as a surprise gift. It was well received and he was able to assemble it very quickly by himself and enjoy relaxing in it with a good book. He said it’s so much better than the camping hammock he’s had for years that is tearing and uncomfortable and doesn’t have a pillow or a stand. He can even do his job while relaxing in it now. He loves it! I’ve used it a few times too and my kids were in it with me and it held up well. My kids (6 and 10) each tried it out independently on Father’s Day and the 6yo fell out and hurt themselves. So this isn’t something you should trust your kids around unsupervised. Otherwise, it’s exactly what you see in the pictures online. We have the blue stripes pattern. I’m sure when we have people over next, they’ll be asking where they can order one themselves. The only thing that would make this hammock better is a second pillow so there could be one at each end. I was afraid the fabric cover would feel plastic - but it is soft and comfortable.
