Update: Unfortunately, this stopped working after using it for 1.5 years. It no longer get warm enough for the chicks. I have older models that still work. Highly disappointed for paying this much for something that doesn't work for very long. I bought this to replace an older model. It does the job and the chicks stay warm. It is easy to adjust up and down depending on how big your chicks are.

I was hopeful, but it doesn’t even get warm. Maybe just a bit, but way under what baby chicks require. Would not recommend.’customer service have me the runaround trying to return. Offered me 16$ to keep haha

Commenting on the heater itself, I give 1 star. Heater arrived missing a leg and the power source. I can’t speak to how it would have worked. It was sent to me from a return centre. Disappointing because I had chicks hatching and had to go to a local store to buy a different one. I may decide to order this one again one day because I did like how big it was and I liked the size of it. I will say that Wayfairs customer service was amazing. I contacted them to return the item, they coordinated a courier and offered to send a replacement. I declined only because I had to go buy one locally.

It arrived with a crack in it. Since I didn't open the box until we needed it, we are using it anyway.

Chicks love it! They finally changed their design for the legs to raise and lower it. So much easier to adjust. Love the disposable covers to keep the top clean. One comes included.

So much better than heat lamps! Chicks are so much more content!!

Terrible product. I kept this inside my home that is about 72 degrees. This brooder would only get about 80 to 82 degrees. Not hot enough to keep the chicks warm. Don't waste your money.

Perfect for chicks and I like that it can be raised as they grow
