I used zip ties to attach it to her collar. I did not like the collar it came with. Works just fine.

Zip tied it to my dogs existing collar D ring. Works perfectly.

Do not have many options with this dog door. Really wish that all door were not 'keyed' to the same frequency. The attachment mechanism is and has always been too tenuous. And, the actual collar has always been less than optimal. Needs a rework. But, there aren't any alternatives.

These collars work great. I took off one star due to the fact that the collar they come on breaks down quickly and I have had to rig the sensor with a zip tie to fit on regular dog collar. Nothing else fits in the small loop in the back of the sensor. I keep spare batteries on hand because I have found they only last 3-4 months- that’s with full access to door during day evening and I turn off overnight

They work and I’m surprised how small they are.

We use this for the elctromic pet door after our dog broke the original one. So far works great. I actually like it better. It actually has a clasp to close it and a screw on the back of the remote to keep it from opening. That was the problem woth the first one. She got it open. Probably when scratching. Luckily she did not swallow the battery.
