Great little addition for my fur babies. It gives just the right amount to keep them fed and with the ability to schedule 6x it means no 5am wake-up calls for food.

Easy to put together. Like that there are 6 feeding options and certain amounts given at each time, especially when im gone for long periods of times.

The Penhouse Paws Automatic Pet Feeder works great. It has a six pound capacity, which is fantastic for those who rescued or care for large cat colonies or the average families cat. This feeder also includes the time feature, stainless steel bowl, safety lock and voice recorder. The evenly proportioned meals help from over feeding. I really am enjoying this new feeder, so are my cats.

My boyfriend has a lot of cats and I wanted to find a way to make his life a little easier. This is going to be great. It’s huge, soap dispenser for comparison, so should be great for a group. There’s also a lock on the top to keep the smarter cats from gorging themselves at the source. The box did show the white color when I ordered the black, which made me worried, but it was the correct color inside!

I thought the packaging was really cute with the paw print tape and paw prints around the box. The auto feeder works really well. It is very simple to operate. The timer helps for when I’m out for a longer day.

This was easy to set up. It takes batteries or you can plug it in. It is easy to understand works just as the directions say it should. This is perfect for when we are out all day or on vacation. Can’t wait to use it.

I have this in black and it is also available in white. This is very simple to assemble. It only takes about two minutes. It blends in very well in my room. It looks just like any other small appliance, sort of like the look of a coffee maker. My cat is very picky so I started off slowly by serving her a few treats in the bowl to get her use to a different dish. Next came the programming. First I recorded my ten second message. That was very easy to do. Just make sure you speak directly and very near the front of the feeder. My daughter helped me to set the time and program the scheduled feedings because I am just not great at that sort of thing. She said it was very simple as long as you have the instruction booklet handy. Manual feeding is really simple too. Just press the down arrow button quickly two times. This is going to take some getting used to but will be well worth it. Our cat likes the new set up and she is very finicky. I will keep the booklet handy so I can learn all of the setting but should be easy enough after a few times. The dish and and top bucket will be easy to keep clean because it is all plastic. This can be plugged in or run on three d cell batteries. I inserted batteries but will be plugging it in to the wall. The batteries are designed for short term use only and do not run all of the features. In case you don't notice there is a low food and low battery icon that will show up on the screen to alert you. Currently we are feeding our cat her treats twice a day through the program to see how things go before we rely on this to feed her her meals while we are away for the weekend. This is a great alternative to having a pet sitter and will keep her food fresh too. It is a fair price for the convenience.

My puppy is loving his new feeder and I love the fact that I can set the times he gets fed and will dispense his food at the times he eats if we’re not home to do so. Thanks Wayfair for this awesome product!!!

I was so excited to get this to control the cats diet but it doesn’t follow the settings of when to dispense food. The instructions are not very clear and we have to push the button multiple times to get it to dispense food, I’ve never seen it go by itself.

This feeder makes sure your cat is fed when you’re gone all day. Unlike a gravity feeder, you can select the portion size at various times of the day (so your cat doesn’t eat way too much). Setup was relatively easy, but the instructions’ translation to English was really off in places. Also, the white function buttons are hard to tell apart, since the symbols on them are embossed (no contrasting color). To change the settings, we discovered you have to unplug the unit and plug in again for the buttons to work (weird!). Since the unit sits on the floor, I have to get down on the floor and look closely at the one-color, hard to read buttons -- awkward and not comfy. Only one cat can eat from the bowl at a time, which seems to frustrate my cats. Good for long days away, but I’ll probably still use separate bowls for my other two cats when I'm home. UPDATE: I took off a star because this feeder attracted tiny sugar ants to my kitchen. The exposed cat food must have attracted them. Oh well...
