Pricy but after reading a lot of reviews for several doggie doors, I didn’t want to go with something cheap that wouldn’t last. After all, I’m putting a hole in my house for one. Door install was a bit involved but the contractor was impressed with its overall build. I also bought that awning. I do wish that the tracks weren’t a separate cost accessory to making the door easier to lock. That would be my only complaint that for this price point some sort of nicer interior lock mechanism would have been nice.

The door is well made. The design and construction of the tunnel could be done better which made installing the door a hassle. The spring loaded lock was installed wrong and the door wouldn’t close automatically and there were no instructions on adjusting it in the installation instructions. I had to find video on the web to fix the problem.

Love these doors. Definitely the best available. I’ve always had dog doors, mostly the flap style. This is far superior. I had to hire a carpenter, so the final cost was significant, but worth it. My only complaint is the doors don’t always line up, so that creates a draft. I ordered xl for my Great Danes.
