The space is very suitable for my sun conure. We can put lots of toys inside the cage and there’s still enough space for bird to fly.

This is a great cage for a Cockatiel or Budgie. I love the way it looks and it’s very sturdy. I put it together myself and didn’t have any issues instruction wise. (My husband had to help me lift it onto the stand- it’s heavy). One of the top doors had a hole that was predrilled in the wrong spot, causing it not to open fully. I contacted Wayfair, I love the cage didn’t want to return just wanted corrected part. They put me in touch with the manufacturer who promptly sent me a top door that worked! Great communication whenif you do have issues. Note One of the reviews mentioned adding the washers that help lock the nut once screwed. I will be purchasing these as well for the tray at the bottom. Only need 4 not a big deal it’s a great cage not knocking a star because of that.

Received the wrong cage. Very sad because the cage I actually ordered is so much better. Stuck with the wrong cage and upset with the return process and the fact I needed a cage when it arrived. Really sucks.

I ordered this cage for a new parakeet that just joined my bird family. I originally wanted a stainless steel cage to match ones I have for my other birds, but finding one with 1/2" bar spacing for a small bird proved to be impossible. This cage is made by A&E, which is a good name brand. I found the pricing on Wayfair to be much better than what I could find for the same cage on other sites. The cage is listed as black, but I would say it is closer to a dark gray color (which I like better). The cage was packed extremely well, and held up despite rough handling by the carrier. The box had a minor tear in it, but the cage inside seemed to be protected. I had one minor issue with some bent bars on the top of the unit (see pic), but they are easily bent back. When the box arrived, it was extremely heavy. I was able to drag it into the house, but I would recommend getting a second person to help. The cage is made of iron, and is much more substantial than I expected. It is extremely heavy, and despite thesmaller 2mm gauge bars, seems to be very sturdy. This cage is perfect for a small to medium bird, up to the size of perhaps a cockatiel or conure, leaving room for flying and exercise. For larger birds, while the cage is spacious, I don't think the bowl sizes or wire gauge would be appropriate. The wheels seems to be of a good quality, being a hard plastic/rubber-like material with a solid metal wheel case. They look good and support the weight of the cage (see pic). The cage has some unusual features I really like, that I have not found on any other brand of cage. This includes plexiglass inserts for a seed-catcher, and a nice metal panel that hides the pull out for the wire floor and cage pan. The cage looks good and seems to be of decent quality. One thing to be aware of is iron cages tend to rust over time, so keep it free of water as much as possible if you want to make it last for more than a few years. Also, the screws that attached the round parts of the roof were a little too long and extend into the interior of cage by 1/4" when fully tightened. I plan to replace these with shorter screws made of stainless steel as soon as possible (stay away from anything made of zinc, as it is toxic to birds). Putting the cage together wasn't hard, but the directions were very poorly written and the screws provided did not match up to the list of what was included. There were extra parts left over, such as large washers that didn't seem to go anywhere. I was able to figure it out from mostly looking at the diagrams, so it all worked out in the end. The worst part of putting it together was lifting the cage onto the stand because it was so heavy. You may want a second person to help you with that procedure. The cage took me a little over an hour to assemble. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and size of this cage. I wasn't as excited about it as much as my baby parakeet seemed to be, once she realized how much room she now had in her new home.

I love the profile and size of this cage. The bars are on the thin side, but ok for my green cheek conures. The bars were actually bent a little in a couple of places when it arrived even though it was packaged extremely well and the box was not damaged. Overall very satisfied and would recommend.

Happy with it but...bars are thin and a piece was broken. One of the clear plastic pieces that keeps the debris in the cage. I have 2 conuresso it's a good cage for them but not for a bird stronger than them. Over all I am happy. I just think it was pricey for the fact that the bars are thin.
