I've been keeping aquariums of all sizes for 20 years. This would make a great, sturdy storage table or a stand for a smaller ~30-40 gallon tank, but it is NOT safe for either a 55 or 75 gallon aquarium. First and most importantly, either a standard 48” long 55 or 75 gallon aquarium exceeds the length of the metal support frame by about 2 inches. A standard 18” wide 75gal tank is also 2 inches wider than the support frame. That means the whole rim of the 600-800lb full aquarium is resting on nothing but a half inch of laminated particleboard! If the edges of the particleboard fail (a material notoriously prone to warping and cracking when wet), the bottom glass will crash right into the metal frame. It’s also a tipping hazard for a 75gal aquarium due to the insufficient width of the frame. Second, despite following the directions exactly and ensuring everything was tightened down, the top panel is bowed and I can easily fit a toothpick between my brand new aquarium and the panel in the front and back. I contacted the manufacturer and they were very responsive and agreed to issue a refund, but due to Wayfair's refund policy it would have to be returned in the box. I was unable to return the item due to the time it would require to disassemble it and inability to fit it all back into the box, but Wayfair honored a full refund which I greatly appreciate. I am giving the item 3 stars since it's an attractive and sturdy piece of furniture for a smaller tank, and since my customer service experience was very good, but in my opinion it's unsafe for the advertised tank size.

Have my 75 gallon on this stand and it’s holding up great! I choose not to fill it all the way just in case it was too heavy, full. Filter and food down below in the cabinet and a 10g full of feeders on the bottom shelf! Great buy!

Product shipped/arrived very quickly. Solid, functions perfectly, looks great plus has different color options. Mine had a metal door insert that arrived cracked, and a back cardboard panel as well, but these did not get in the way of assembly though. I hid the damaged parts by flipping them around.

Love it, very sturdy and works perfect for my 55 gallon tank.If fits in a little nook in my living room. The only complaint is the out side shelf just sits on screws and moves back and forth.

I bought this stand as I needed a stand for my seventy-five gallon aquarium tank. It was one of the first and best purchases I made from Wayfair. Delivery was quick, and it was easy to assemble. Its sturdy and looks great! Not even six months later, I ordered another. The fact that when assembling, you can choose the side you want the doors, they both look great in my living room! Guests adore the layout!
