The pet gate is extremely well made. Fits perfectly and installation was a breeze. Love that the door closes behind you. Love the width of the door, especially getting the laundry basket through. Keeps my kittens safe and I don't need to worry about them squeezing through. Should have purchased this a long time ago. Great purchase!

DO NOT, AND I REPEAT DO NOT BUY THIS DOOR. I WAS SO EXCITED TO GET IT TODAY. I OPENED THE BOX, AND IT WAS TOO SMALL. THEY SENT ME A 28-INCH ONE INSTEAD OF 30 INCHES MINIMUM. IT IS NOT EVEN FOR SALE ON THE PAGE. THEY ARE RIPPING EVERYBODY OFF, AND NOW I HAVE TO SEND IT BACK TO GET MY 190 DOLLARS BACK. ITS SUPER HEAVY, AND I HAVE A DISABILITY. I CANNOT SEND IT BACK. MOST DISGUSTING COMPANY THAT DOES NOT ADMIT THEIR WRONG DOING. I WAS VERY SAD AND I JUST BOUGHT A HOUSE, BUT EVERYTHING I WANTED TO PURCHASE FOR MY NEW HOME WILL NOT BE DONE AT WAYFAIR NOW..THEY JUST LOST A CUSTOMER. Ps...I found out that I cant get it picked up at my house after all but I will not get 190 back I will lose 40 dollars..I am getting only 150 back....please do not buy this door...if u have a disability like I have and cannot bring back the door to a UPS place...u will be charged like me 40 dollars for it...they dont care if u r handicap... disgusting business.....

It's great to keep pet cats from going into certain areas of house

This gate is awesome! Very well constructed and I think it will last for a long time. It is perfect for helping slowly introduce our newest ferals turned house cats to the rest of the fur kids.

I have wanted something like this for YEARS - our family has fostered kittens and cats in the past, and introducing newcomers would have been so much more pleasant if they could be aware of one another yet not feel threatened. I'm so happy to have found this now, at last. One final "minus:" once installed, it seems the side uprights are designed to SPRING into the door jamb. I thought that mine was defective, but I've since learned that the frame is intentionally designed out of square. This is why instructions warn NOT to remove the fastenings around the frame until the door is in place. These are adjustable to a limited extent, so it IS important to measure and plan carefully for the doorframe in which you are installing. That said, it's nice that you can install it in a doorway with an existing conventional solid door, too. Assembly is quite easy (I didn't use the child safe lock, as we are all adults), and very manageable for one individual (I did this myself and I'm a fit and mature woman). The adjustable screw mounts confused me briefly but once I got the idea they worked perfectly. The metal and welds seem strong and the door is stable and substantial. I love that it keeps pets safe while keeping doors "open" and easy to navigate for humans too.

Actually keeps our cat out of the basement. I wasnt sure if the spacing would be small enough but easy to install and works like a charm!
