Anemone Diamond Wool Shag

This rug was so absolutely perfect for my midcentury family room! The muted colors and optional illusion , mod design really pulled the space together. I did run my heavy duty, sweeper on it immediately. The result was a noticeable and soft fluffy feel under my bare feet. The rug came well wrapped and complete with several moisture resistance packets and I might add, the rug had no unpleasant oder or shedding.

Just what I expected

Pros the color of this rug is definitely cream and beige and it’s a nice color scheme. It’s a nice design and looks really cute. Cons it smells like awful chemicals. Maybe this could fade with time. It’s a shag rug, but there are tons of pieces that were never cut and are stragglers. This tells me it’s so cheaply made and there is no quality control. That is not what I expect from this brand. I will have to trim it with scissors to get the piles to match in height and it not look like my cat attacked it. Also, this is not a soft shag. It is quite rough to the touch. Another pro if my cat attacks it, I suppose it’ll add to the existing character and messy look.

This was a bit disappointing. It just doesn’t look great. The carpet looks a little nappy and pilled, and it has to be vacuumed in one direction or it doesn’t lay right. It’s curling a bit at the edges though I’m hoping it will flatten out soon.
