Love the rug! It's soft and good quality. The black dots adding the style to my cloffice!

This is a cute rug! Great for a nursery. HOWEVER the biggest draw back is the smell. The off-gassing is terrible. I let it air out for 1 week outside, then tried to put it in the nursery but the smell was so strong it hurt my throat... I had to let it continue to "off gas" in our living room for 2 more weeks! I tried covering it in baking soda and vacuuming up the smell and it might have helped a little bit. My dad has a commercial carpet cleaning business and I talked to him about cleaning the rug to help the smell but he said it is from the cheap glue that they use on the back of the rug and cleaning wouldn't help it... anyway so close to 5 weeks later I was able to finally put it in my daughter's room without it causing a terrible chemical smell. Now I will say its a very soft rug, the pattern is cute but it is a little thin for a shag rug- like you can feel the backing when you walk on it. End of story- its a cheap rug- you get what you pay for... I honestly would have probably returned it if I could find a large polka dot rug anywhere else, but I couldn't...

In no way, shape, or form is this rug 4x6. It's 5x3 and that's not what I ordered. Anyway, it's cute a s soft.
