Ugh, I wish I were the type of person who could have this rug! I was so in love when we first received it. It offers exceptional understated elegance for the price, and creates a calm atmosphere in my living room. It's also cozy- important to me and my husband as we often lounge on the ground with our two dogs for cuddles or fetch. The downside of this rug comes as no surprise- it easily shows dirt, and after one party a couple weeks after purchase, it was already looking a bit dingy in spots. Having it professionally cleaned helped, but this is probably not the rug for you if like us here in Southern California, you have a very indoor-outdoor lifestyle and don't want to have to have to be extra cautious about yourself and your dogs potentially tracking in dirt.

Honestly I’m very happy with this rug, especially for the price. It’s super soft, came rolled up but has fully flattened out overnight. Yes, there is a little bit of a plastic smell but I expected it and it’s not overwhelming. Overall 1010!
