Ktaxon 1700 Watt 8 Deep Fryer with Timer

Great piece of equipment but it is for large quantity. I probably could’ve used a smaller one, but it did really well.

What can you say about a deep fryer. This one retains heat well and returns back to temperature quickly after adding your food.

It exactly what I was looking for. Big enough for the whole family. Heats up pretty fast and cooks great I just love it!

This deep fryer is everything that I hoped for! It’s large and built like a tank compared to the models available in the same price range at the local superstore. It feels like a machine you would find in a restaurant’s kitchen. There was some assembling to do upon arrival. It took about 40 minutes in all to remove the protective plastic film, assemble the handle and silicone feet and clean everything so that it’s ready to use. It took about 2 gallons of oil to meet the minimum oil quantity required in the tank. Heating up was quick and in less than 20 minutes, the temperature reached 350F. It cooked the fried chicken beautifully and it was delicious! Once done, we let the oil cool down to about 200F and filter the oil for storage. The tap made this step safe and easy. I LOVE my fryer and can’t wait to try more recipes!

It works well but handle with care because the aluminum is very thin and flimsy. If you bump it you will bend the metal. Also, I wasn’t crazy about the mess made by the styrofoam. It went everywhere while unpacking it.

Wow! This deep fryer is great. It is like an industrial fryer. So easy to set up and use. Great quality product I plan to use for all sorts of yummy treats. A little big to store but worth it. I highly recommend.

I had a very difficult time removing the white film from the fryer. I could not remove all the white film. I could not assembled the rubber legs on the bottom of the fryer. The overall size is appropriate for small family cook outs. The stainless steel color is very rich.
