Miriam Blanket Chest

The complaints about storage size are unfounded; I have 14 throw blankets in there, plus coasters, remotes, and could get another 1-2 throws in. We’re using it as a coffee table. It really is a lovely piece of furniture; 4 stars because one of the leg screws wouldn’t go in, I’m suspicious of the hinge quality, and because the product they used for the finish doesn’t seem durable. I guess time will tell, but since this is actual wood, if it comes down to it we can sand it down and refinish it ourselves (which wouldn’t be ideal but is doable) . Included a picture of the back of the item since I didn’t see one in the other reviews or images on the site.

Really love this trunk table. It fits perfectly in the room. Solid wood, and the legs were very easy to attach. Very nice solid wood and the lid does not slam shut, rather it’s an easy glide.. It’s says it’s made in India…

The trunk is beautiful!! Beautiful wood. A little overpriced . The corner of the wood was broken and re glued unevenly back , so IT DID NOT HAPPEN IN TRANSIT! Funny, I read that with other reviews and thought it must of been a few isolated incidences or happened in transit . Along with my order was a letter from a Wayfair stating this trunk had been unpacked and carefully inspected BEFORE shipping. Then it stated the trunk was re packed and shipped after thorough inspection determined there was no problems with the item !! All as part of their quality of insurance . Hummm... ?? This definitely was not the case. Also, the shipping was really slow and not what was stated when I placed my order ! Strike 3 ALL on 1 order. Although, I like some of their items , I think I will shop elsewhere for purchases in the future ! Disappointed , expected more from Wayfair. A companies promise or guarantee goes a long way to strengthen their reputation. But, not this time ! Thank you ,

Love the chest! Assembly was easy (only had to attach the legs). Like that it doesn’t slam close when you go to close it and that the lids stays up securely when it’s open. I’m using it as a coffee table as well as a blanket box. My grandson suggested that it could also work as a toy chest!

This is a nice little storage trunk! Assembly was super easy - just putting the legs on. Seems like a solid little piece of furniture.

When I finally got it out of the very well packed box, I lifted the lid and one of the latches broke and the wood that it was screwed into fell out. I was very disappointed. Communicating with Wayfair on line was even more frustrating. The online customer service rep initially said that he would send me a label and I would need to box it up and take it to the store. I had to tell him that he needs to send me a label, the box to put it in and a delivery person to pick it up. Now I am trying to cancel them sending me a replacement. I decided I want nothing more to do with Wayfair.

Very heavy piece of furniture. Looks great at the end of my bed. Ample storage for throws and blankets.

All we had to do was put on the feet. Perfect for my office and storing my kids craft stuff
