Box is well constructed. But spent a lot of time to assemble with all the screws and especially removing the protective plastic from the metal pieces. Disappointed that the bottom was plastic not metal like the rest of the box. Also the top does fit tight to the sides. It's good for keeping out water but the gap will allow critters to get in. Would be great for cushions and misc. deck stuff but not for bird seed as we bought it.

This is a great size box for holding all of kids outdoor toys and we love the fact that it is lockable as well. This was quite difficult to assemble and we would recommend having two people to help if possible.

Perfect for my bird seed storage. Very sturdy. I hope it is good in the winter. We hired the assembly team to put it together. It does come with each piece that has plastic wrap on it which is difficult to get off

This takes quite a while to put together but the end result is well worth it. I have other deck boxes that are not nearly as sturdy as this one. Love the slow close lid. Such a functional deck box and very nice looking.

Like that you included gloves. The corner metal brackets were impossible to get in, only got one screw in each corner to line up. I'm not sure how metal can be water resistant.

The end product is a good solid chest to store deck chair cushions, beach toys, etc and it looks nice. However - it had a skillionty thousand parts - tons of tiny screws and it comes totally flat in quite a few pieces, so it's quite an extensive project putting it together - patience is required, also wear gloves - the metal edges are sharp! End result is solid though.
