4 pieces of ply wood poorly painted to look distressed. Do not buy, doesn’t even look like a ladder as the edges are not at angles.

Very nice size and well made. Only downside is the wood snags the blankets as it’s more of the rustic look and feel.

Was slightly disappointed. A little more rustic than I had hoped for. Steps on ladder thicker than anticipated. A bit pricey for the quality. But, it works.
