Good Ideas 65 Gallons Plastic Drainable Dual Overflow Planter Rain Barrel

These rain barrels are heavy duty and add to our yard with the planters on top. I've been able to plant trailing flowers which add to an otherwise dull area. Definitely helps with our water bill as we have 3.

This is a nice barrel - it looks great and doesn’t look like a plastic rain barrel. The bad thing is the design where the spout is. I bought the barrel stand because I thought the other reviews were talking about the fact that the spout is too close to the ground - actually what they were talking about is that the knob won’t turn because there is not enough room where it is attached. It won’t turn on and off if it is placed in the correct orientation. I set mine slightly off center but this is a design flaw. Another design flaw is that it is going to be impossible to clean. The opening is tiny and the barrel is huge. Wish they had assembled it with a removable top. Over all this barrel is just OK. I am slightly disappointed but it is going to work so it’s not worth the hassle of sending it back.

It really works, I am still trying to figure out why it is leaking from the nubs on the back at the top. I should of bought a small hose to connect to the faucet since that is about 4” from the ground

I have several 55 gal drums in the back of our veggie garden, but wanted something a little nicer for up next to the house and patio. This is a beautiful addition to the corner of the house.

Even though this is plastic it looks nice among the landscape of our yard. I am happy to have something to hold all this rain we have been getting! It is very functional and stylish!

My first rain barrel was the 50 gallon version. I liked it enough to want the bigger one. They looked identical, which was why I went for this one. I was surprised to find 2 spigots, like the smaller one, but only one opening, not 2 ! It truly needs two. I could drill a 2nd hole, but there’s not another thick badge, so there’s not a thick enough layer to thread a spigot into. I would not recommend the 65 gallon version.

I have three- love them. If you have large roof feeding into it will fill quickly and overflow. It’s possible to link another barrel if you have space
