Highland 8 ft. W x 6 ft. D Storage Shed

Very laborious to put together and several of the lives were not cut to the correct length. I would avoid buying this unless you are very handy and have 12-15 hours of time. Also more of the pieces should we screwed together rather than nailed, which I did on my own.

Love it!! I bought it to house as a dog house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to assemble, fit perfectly next to my garage. I wish it came with windows, however, my contractor bought transom windows and we placed them on the sides for more natural light.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made a deal with the Mrs to give up our rental storage unit and build this to reclaim my garage space as well. I’m no pro but I pride myself on my family nickname, Mr Some Assembly Required. The weather was bad so I opted to paint all pieces x2 prior to assembly. I have a small backyard dominated by a pool so I opted to use 2 4x4 runners as the yard slopes a bit. Sonotubes with about a bag and a half quickcrete for each hole. The instructions are better than most, with fairly detailed drawings of tricky tasks. Well done Handy! One person could do it alone, but wall to floor assembly and final door install will be easier with another set of hands. The Mrs and I are both happy now.

I wanted a project to do together and to show him what little I know about construction. I have never built anything like this, but I guess I knew enough to be successful. There were a couple warped boards that created some challenges, but the way the shed is designed and built they didn’t create any huge issues. The instructions were good not great. We figured it out. On a few occasions I had to take things apart and put them back together. Figured I’d rather make the extra effort and get it done right. I am proud of the overall build and think it looks great. I’ve cleared out a good deal of my garage already. I plan on adding some shelves and hooks to maximize the storage in the shed. I bought a wood shed primarily for this reason. I also learned that wood sheds tend to last the longest. Other than some warped boards and instructions that were good but took me a while to figure out, I thought this was a quality product.
