Hmmm well , they make it look like solid cedar panels but they are in fact not. They are thin cedar with a thin cedar frame behind them. Very deceiving.

These will be part of our fireplace design when we move into our newly renovated home in another state. I also bought a cedar mantle to go with these that will be cut into strips

Beautiful panels. They smell fantastic and we love the way they look. They came completely blemish free (shock!) and quickly. The width is perfect for new construction homes with the prebuilt hanging systems in the closets. I'm ordering more for other closets. We expected to line several closets for seasonal storage purposes, but these additions are also a nice upgrade for whenever we sell the house. I'm buying more - thanks Wayfair!

This cedar kit of 2 panels is actually a very nice touch for your closet. They have a pleasant cedar aroma to them that is not overwhelming. They are very well built and the size of them is perfect. There are 2 panels in the kit. They each measure 42 inches tall and 20 inches wide by 34 inches deep. I am very happy with the Hofer Cedar Kit!

Love the Smell I live in the Midwest where most homes have basements. Basements are great for extra storage and shelter from tornadoes, but they are also damp. Even with dehumidifiers, air conditioning or heat, basements can smell musty. I have a closet in my basement packed with clothes right now, and I worry that they will absorb the smell. I ordered these cedar panels to repel the smell and moths. Since my closet is full, I placed the panel sideways at the bottom of the closet. I like that the panels can be moved around where needed. There are holes drilled into the corners of the panels if you want to attach them permanently to the wall. I love the smell of cedar!

I love cedar. I gave 3 stars because the description is misleading as far as wood thickness. They are only an inch thick around the edges. While I won’t be able to use them in my coffeewine nook they are beautiful and we can find other uses for them.

Overall nice product having two panels come in one shipment was a great option. I am not sure what I expected, but based on the photos I was a bit surprised by the back of the panels and how they were constructed. While I didnt expect a solid piece of cedar, the construction did seem a bit odd to me. I included a photo of the front and back. There was no hardware included (they didnt indicate there would be), but if you zoom in, there are holes drilled in the corners on the front of the panels like there should have been.

I'm so pleased I ordered this product! It smells amazing, but not overpowering. I have one piece in a hall closet and the other in the master closet. The product was packed really well and delivery was quick.
