The basket is sturdy and I love the design and the color variances throughout the weave. However, be warned, the smell at first is awful! It smells just like my grandpa’s hay barn full of hay bales! Smell is so strong it makes the entire area of the house stink for days. It has been about a week and either I’m getting used to the smell or the smell is dissipating. I will likely keep them. But I had planned on storing blanketspillows in them and now I’m not so sure if I will for fear they will stink. Guess they’re good for already stinky shoes…

Beautiful basket. Just the right size I was looking for to fit/display/store a 3-4 throws on the hearth in my family room. Found the gray color as expected and sturdy.
