Oval Stainless Steel 1.6 Gallon Countertop Compost Bin

This counter top bin is good. My only issue is that in the video, at 11 seconds, it shows a small mechanism that will automatically close the top. This is why I bought this one! I called Wayfair about it after I received the order and they said it was a mistake in the video. Too much trouble to repack and send back so it is better than what we were using for compost peelings, etc. I suggested they fix the video!

I needed a new compost bin and this one is larger than my last one. Saves trips to the composter out back. Looks nice on the counter.

It works as described. I like it. It has a desiccant holder inside to remove the smell. I empty mine every other day. It's a good size for collecting a couple of days worth of composting material. I knocked off one star. Because the lid is oval vice round, it sometimes falls in the muck. It's probably me but thought I'd mention it anyway.

Looks good, but as others have stated, the lid falls inside too easily...but better looking than many so I will give additional star.

This looks very nice on my counter and it holds in the smell from the composting items in the bin. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Great size and no odors come through. Lid sometimes is a bit difficult to get back on. Overall, I would buy again.
