Haven’t used it yet but great value (open box item)

I just received this sewing machine a few days ago and know very little about sewing and zero knowledge about sewing machines, but I can say that it was boxed well, arrived in perfect condition, turns on, and I was able to create a straight stitch.

I have enjoyed this machine. I have always used Singer products and this one works just as well as my original.

While the motor is quiet, the machine itself makes a very loud clacking noise as you see. Maybe that is why they call it “mechanical”? The description also said it came with a storage case which turned out to be a cheap piece of something or other to place over the machine as a dust cover. Disappointing to say the least. However, all the items were in the “open box” and the machine came completely threaded and ready to go to work so, all in all, great value for the cost!

Seems like a good little machine. Haven’t used it much yet, but the first try went well.
