Gun Safe Dial or Electronic Lock

Very nice safe at the price point, heavy and easy to operate. The door does lift off to make moving much easier. The mechanical combo is always nice for the long haul but the key pad would be a better option I think if you want to enter the safe quickly. Overall great safe not one of these cheap filing cabinets.

Husband loves it. Very heavy and lots of room. Was the perfect Christmas present. And delivered for free!!

Minus the lock only working part time, great safe. Tried changing battery but seems to be an electrical issue inside. Only works if you press really hard to get buttons to engage.

My husband wanted a gun safe that was NOT DIGITAL and would hold his collection of guns and knives. We had a lot of trouble finding a safe without a digital locking mechanism, but when I saw this one on Wayfair I knew it was the one. I checked out the manufacturer's website to research the maker and their prices, and we decided to order the largest safe in this particular class (they also make a heavier, higher grade or class of gun safes, but that would have been over-kill for us- this one was plenty). When the safe arrived I was afraid it was almost cartoonishly large, but thank goodness we went with this size! Not only did it fit all of my husband's weapons, I'm pretty sure the next smaller size would not have. This safe is SUPER HUGE, so measure carefully where you want it placed. It's also VERY HEAVY, I think 700 lbs or so (maybe heavier?), so be aware of that as well. We loved that Wayfair delivered this item for $20- that was another big selling point, because other places wanted to charge big money for that. The delivery guys were ridiculous though- they don't unbox the item, just placed it (quickly) then basically ran. We didn't even realize that they placed the safe with the door facing the wall until they'd left about 3 minutes earlier- and when we called to ask if they would return to flip it around, they refused. NICE! Not. I proceded to call Wayfair but we ended up being able to have some guys help us turn it the following day for us. But JEESH- what a pain in the neck that experience was. Lastly- one of the little metal spokes on the safe could not be completely screwed in (the hole/opening was stripped)- it happens to be the one on top so it sort of looks like it is supposed to be that way (but it's not- and since we know better it looks awkward and is annoying); BUT obviously we were not going to return the safe- it's TOO MUCH TROUBLE- so Wayfair "made it right" by offering us a small credit in return- which we really appreciated. All in all my husband loves this safe, it checks off all the things he was looking for AND needed, and we feel we got a great deal, even if the delivery guys were stone cold ridiculous. That was a local company, not a Wayfair thing. Maybe Wayfair will hire other companies to delivery items like this in the future for them. This is a rather detailed review, but when you are spending so much money on a once in a lifetime kind of purchase like this, it's important to provide these details to help others- so I hope it does!

First and foremost, the Wayfair delivery team was great! They called ahead, left the safe where I asked, and were very professional. Plus it arrived about 4 days earlier than estimated! With it being an open box purchase, Im always a little weary that its going to have defects that I regret, and this being a big, expensive item, I was nervous. It has one tiny knickdent in the bottom corner. Thanks, whoever returned this item, because I got this at 99.99 perfection and a lower cost!

Overall, I like the safe. However the interior of the safe I received does not look the same as the one on the website. I expected to get shelves on the right side, but did not. It arrived, I paid extra for inside delivery, and I paid extra again to help put it in place. However, it sits on "feet" that are a problem. I don't know if I can remove them, but as the safe is very heavy, I am not sure now to do this. The main problem is the lack of shelving inside, which is the primary reason I bought this safe, as I did not want a gun rack that I would have to remove.

Great product at a great price. Wayfair's delivery team could not handle the size and weight of this item. I hired a professional safe mover as I did not want to see anyone get hurt. This weights almost 800 lbs.
