This jar seals better than the new OXOs where the seal basically is too loose and comes off easily. The only complaint I have is that there seems to be some imperfections on the base caused by the cast for the glass not forming properly. This did not impact the function so I did not send it back.. They just arrived in poorly packed box resulting in 2 completely broken jars, 2 cracked jars and 2 jars with mashed and dented rings/lids that I can't remove. I am contacting Wayfair about the damages on Monday. The company who sold these didn't use an appropriate size box and worse their was no packing around the jars to hold them in place from sliding around the box during shipping. I can just fill them up and take them with me. Sometimes I grab lunch from home, and it's nice to have a beverage to go along with it. Now that I have these glass bottles, I can grab a beverage from home and pour them right in the bottle. It's perfect! The quality of these jars is excellent as well. It's nice that they're made of glass. I think that makes them so much more stronger as well. I also think these are a great size.
