I ordered four of these tents for a backyard jack & jill party in August in Connecticut and our weather forecast was calling for winds/thunderstorms. I was nervous about whether these would hold up after reading the reviews and seeing tents blown over but they were absolutely perfect. We set the tents up the night before the event, after doing a practice run. We duct taped the ceiling rods together at the connection where you twist them together to reinforce and we weighed the tents down with 5 gallon buckets filled with water, zip tied to the legs as well as tied down to the buckets from the loop in the canopy. It down-poured on and off before the party and everything underneath the tables stayed dry while we were decorating. The tents didn't budge, even with occasional pickups in the wind. We put 3 together in the yard next to each other and one on our deck, which we screwed down to the deck boards. The price for four tents was similar in cost to rent one smaller tent.
