I got this in the 1.5 qt. size and you can see what a standard 15.5 oz can of food looks like in there for scale. I've had this 3 years now and can say Tramontina's tri-ply is really good quality. I'm not sure why they don't seem to get as much attention as brands like Calphalon, but they should. I also have a Tramontina 8" tri-ply skillet and it performs really well, too. I think I have found my new favorite brand of cookware. My other pots and pans are also tri-ply, but sub par in construction even though they're a top brand. You can see the 3 layers on the edge of my other pots, and they create a sharp edge. This is not so with Tramontina, they made sure to finish that edge smooth. It's these small attentions to detail that really speak towards their quality control. Temperature distribution is top notch (checked with a laser thermometer) and the pan overall feels solid.
