We are very pleased with the newest version of Cuisinart coffee maker. We had the previous version for several years before it gave up the ghost. Only I drink coffee at my house so I don't need a coffeemaker large enough to make 8-12 cups of coffee. I was using a Keurig and although it's convenient, the coffee isn't as tasty as it should be (I think the water doesn't get hot enough) and I hated throwing the plastic pods in a landfill. This Zutto coffeemaker came highly rated by Wirecutter so I thought I'd give it a try. I brew the full 5 cup carafe which equals 2.5 mugs of coffee. The brew is hot and takes about 5 minutes to complete. The footprint of this unit is small which is great since I have limited counter space. It uses #2 cone filters.
