Good Instructions! Certainly a medium DIY project with proper tools. Dont really like that you cannot attach the final product to the horizontal 2x4 members, it needs to be "padded-out" to clear the frame hardware. . ER. SC. 2020-06-03 16:17:59

Adjust-a-gate, 4 ft. H x 6 ft. W Metal Gate proved the perfect way to replace an almost 40-year-old gate. Trying to find a professional to do any type of home improvement work is virtually impossible. After some research and a little help from my wife, we decided to save some bucks, and take on the DIY project ourselves. The old gates were heavy, and the rusted bolts no longer provided support for keeping them straight. The kit provides most of the material to build the square metal support. You will need some 2x4s from the lumber yard. They will hold the wood fence slats in place. The instructions were clear and fairly easy to follow. In all, taking apart the old gates, and finishing the new became a 4-day project... 90-degree-plus weather limited the work day time.
