We purchased this as are old 8x8 wood structure shed was 30 years old and needed to be replaced . Wood options were way out of our budget so opted after reading many reviews to go plastic. Have to say I was skeptical. To my surprise it’s spacious, and easy to keep organized and the white panel on the top and the window are nice source of light to see inside. Once it was completed and secured to the base it felt very secure and not flimsy at all. We have had two heavy rains and no leaks. I highly recommend it for the value verses wood structure. We are fingers crossed it makes it through the winter cold temperatures without cracking. The directions were good but definitely is a two or 3 person job. It took 2 full days (picture shows what we accomplished day 1 8hours ). Part of it was making are old base (8x8) still in good condition bigger as this shed is 8.4 ft wide. Did not quite see that until we reread the size in small print under the 8x8. The other issue we live in New England and it’s not exactly warm in the fall so some of the panels were warping , we had to bring them in our house to warm up and soften. Most of this was easy to put together just time consuming. The roof was the hardest and getting the panels to “ slide “ in the groove was not easy. Took us a very long time to get them in and they would pop out and would have to start over. Would I purchase this again Yes , perfect back yard supply storage unit . We just completed erecting this portable storage shed for my lawnmower today, and I wanted to take a few minutes to complete a review so other prospective buyers would know what to expect. The manufacturer did an excellent job of numbering all the parts and providing instructions showing exactly how the frame should be laid out and assembled. I really liked the design where the tubes serving as the frame simply slid together and didn't have any small screws and bolts to attach them together, but it took two people to assemble to make sure that the frame stayed together during the assembly process. I didn't like the need to disassemble sections in order to assemble and install subsequent steps...it just seemed to be unnecessary and a waste of time. For example, to install the front cover, the instructions ask you to disconnect cross rails from the middle and sides in order to strap on the cover and to install the roof tarp you must undo cross bars installed earlier to slide the rails into the cover. The manufacturer provides four sturdy anchors to secure the shed and you need to be prepared to screw them about 10 inches into the soil where you will erect the tent so it would be very difficult to do if you want to put the tent on rocky or very hard solid. Also, the tent is tightened by strong ratchets and locked into the anchors so I believe the tent will withstand reasonably strong winds. Overall, the assembly process (despite the doing and undoing) took about 3 1/2 to 4 hours and the storage tent was exactly what I needed.. John. GA. 2023-02-06 15:52:27

I was so very pleased when I started looking at the brochure directions! They are well done and easy to understand. I build this Factor 8x6ft shed by myself and I am a 60+ female. It is like putting together a puzzle...much fun. I split my puzzle time into two afternoons, followed directions and took my time. It turned out great! The only part when you need 2 people is to attach the roof panels. Most important is to build a level base. I did that with 12"x12" pavers. Honestly, that was the most difficult part of the project. Everything else went very smoothly. The shed is a perfect size for all your garden tools or could be a great playhouse if little children were around! p.s. I was impressed with the door lock/latch because unlike other sheds I had looked at, it is secured within the wall panels of the door so you can add a lock if needed.. Cecile. The Shed is really nice, but some parts were bent, looks like someone had open the box and put everything back, the package of the screws looks like someone had opened it before and put it back.
