Excellent quality stainless steel. The first order contained only one place setting of the correct flatware with really odd other pieces—different pattern, poor-quality, missing pieces, with a third pattern of iced tea spoons. But customer service had me send photos and immediately replaced the order. The Bramasole deserves five stars—but something definitely went wrong with the quality control packing on the first shipment—probably at the manufacturer’s factory as the packaging looked correct.. Beautiful silverware with decent weight. So far washes well by hand, haven't tried with dishwasher yet. Just in case you're wondering, the photo on the site gives an appearance of being a bit darkened in spots, in reality, they are very shinny and bright. Hope that helps anyone who is wondering..
