This is my 2nd cooker. I didn’t know that the special cup that comes with them are equal to 3/4 cup. Here I threw it away or lost it the first time and was using regular cups to measure the rice, which makes sense why my rice was always dry! I’m glad I kept it and FINALLY read the instructions. I had been doing it wrong all this time!! This is really a cool good looking rice cooker. Not much room for steaming vegetables, wish the tray was a little deeper to fit a whole 32 oz bag of frozen veggies. All in all LOVE IT. p.s. the picture is from abt 4 hours after done so looks a little dry. I meant to take a picture right afterwards but I was too hungry and forgot. Update. This is a 20 cup steamer. Although it is a little larger we find that it does a fantastic job, especially when steaming veggies. The brown rice function is a great feature.
