I was doing my fair bit of shopping and wanted a more contemporary looking glider for our room. This one looked nice and it was on sale so I bit the bullet. I was surprised to find the glider on my front porch two days after I placed the order. It shipped pretty compact and arrived in one box. SETUP: You do have to assemble it but putting it together was a breeze. There were only two pieces and after I lined up the backrest with the base seat, sliding it in was not difficult. You have to make sure you hear the clicks once the hardware was in place. When I did it, only one had clicked and I just had to push the other side a little harder to get it click. There is a fabric cover that you need to stretch tight to attach to the velcro under the chair frame. THOUGHTS: The chair looked awesome and fit the decor of our room. The glider was really comfortable and the rocking and turning action were very smooth and quiet. Wifey also gave me props for picking a good color. The fabric looked nice and looked like the more expensive ones you would find at West Elm or Pottery Barn. Needless to say, I know where I'm sitting for movie night!. It's smaller than expected and more firm than I'd like but well made! Perfect size for me, 5'4", but my husband who is 6'4" is comical in it! It seems well made so far. It rocks and swivels very smoothly. Reclines well though the foot rest is very hard to put back down. The material feels very durable, not plush or soft by any means, and I think it will be easy to clean. Overall content with the purchase, not thrilled. I wish it was bigger for the price.. Anonymous. This looks incredible in our nursery! We were going to go with the Olive Glider/ottoman combo until it sold out, but I think my husband and I are both more excited we got the Piper recliner instead! The nursery is quite small, so this makes more sense for us. We are so happy with it. We were on a mission to find a rocker or glider with a high back--Mom's words of wisdom told us we will want somewhere to rest our heads/necks when we are up with the baby at all hours of the night. When this came in, the box was in terrible shape. Luckily, the glider was not damaged structurally and there were only a few small smudges. Wayfair's superb customer service helped us and gave us enough of a refund to get it cleaned. This is comfortable, easy to assemble, and has a really nice feel of motion! We were between the khaki and the cream on color choice. I was worried the khaki would be too dark/ brown looking, but it is not at all. Beautiful!
