I am giving a it a 3 star due to delivery and quality of the item in question. First, the item was delivered by FedEx to a different address and we had to get a replacement. Secondly, the crib came cracked as you can see on the upper left hand corner of the attached picture. It looks really nice and cozy and easy to mount but the wood could be more durable. There were no reviews for this when I ordered it, so I was pretty nervous that it would show up cheap and flimsy and damaged. I was pleasantly surprised to find that was not the case. The pieces were sturdy and well packed, and everything was accounted for. The color is a lovely off-white, with intentional brush marks to give the surface some texture. Very happy with the look of it. Deducting one star for a couple of assembly issues that could have been avoided. There was one part of the instructions where the necessary hardware was mislabeled, causing me to believe I was short 4 bolts. It took me a while to figure that out. Then, went I went to install the drawers, I found that the drawer rails (which all came pre-attached to the drawer walls, and initially seemed like a great time saving bonus) on the middle support wall had been installed upside down. I had to take an extra hour to take all of them off and reinstall them the correct way, which was not fun or easy to do since they had grease all over them. If you know to expect these things going in, or you get a dresser where the instructions and pre-assembly are all correct, this is a beautiful piece of furniture that I expect to last a very long time. Everything is super cute, I would have rated 5 stars but the drawers have the slide installed on them before being delivered and one was installed backwards so we had to go buy a new one from Lowe’s.
