This is a comfortable (and beautiful) chair and would recommend if you don't have any back issues and you're not a heavy person. Here's the reason for 3 stars: There is little or no lumbar support, which can be a problem if you plan on working or sitting in this chair for hours at a time. Yes you can probably remedy it with a lumbar cushion, but if you're investing in a quality office chair then what's the point? Also, the specs state this is chair is made to support up to 400 lbs. I'm 6 ft, 260 lbs (I lift weights as a hobby), but notice after the 2nd day of receiving this and just sitting for a few hours, the seat cushion seems to bottom out and I can already feel the bottom wood/metal base, despite it having layered foam support. So.....like I said, if you have a good back, not concerned about lumbar support and aren't that heavy of a person, you'll probably love this chair.
