This is my second stainless steel pet fountain. I had a 128 ounce Drinkwell that the cats loved, but it was a little difficult to maneuver, wash, and clean because of its size... and I didn't like the filters, either. I was going to buy the PetSafe ceramic fountain but it was a bit expensive. I then saw the ad for this one, and its shape (similar to the Drinkwell) and size (60 ounces) are much more suitable for my space. It's easier to clean also and I can more clearly see the fill marks now when the water gets low. It's also much more quiet than the Drinkwell and my cats like that they have three ways of drinking: from the bowl itself, from the sloped sides, or from the little spigot at the top.. Tanya.
