We are very pleased with the newest version of Cuisinart coffee maker. We had the previous version for several years before it gave up the ghost. We love our coffee maker. It can make a bit of a mess in the filter area if you over fill the water or coffee grounds. The white is stain resistant. Although the coffee maker carafe was almost identical to the original item the lid was slightly different and was about 1/16th of an inch too low to push the brew basket's drain plug up to allow the brewed coffee to drain into the carafe.
