MAJOR FAILURE from the second party supplier StockMarket out of McGregor, Texas, but Wayfair made it right.
I ordered three Dryden 17 valve trims from Wayfair despite them being the same price at Ferguson’s website, because Wayfair offered a better price on the compatible multichoice rough-in valve. All three boxes arrived with manufacturer’s seal broken. One box was clearly a defective return with damaged parts and an incompatible temperature handle—valve broken and temp handle broken. Another box appeared to have all the parts, but they were clearly opened and the trim escutcheon was bent and dented and the volume control handle scratched. The third box, was also opened and had a scratched escutcheon and a missing temperature control handle. I paid for brand new products, I received garbage. I also purchased the two Delta Dryden wide set sink faucets—both came in manufacture’s sealed boxes and appear new from the same supplier company StockMarket, out of Petrie,Ca. If you’re expecting the quality Delta is known for, you’re better off going through Ferguson for the same price.
Spoke with Wayfair customer service and provided photos. They provided me with a refund for all three valve trims.
I’m going to buy the products again, but from a supplier that will provide me with new unopened items. It’s all nice metal, except for the temp valve handle which is plastic.. Brandie. Lodi, CA. 2022-07-08 17:53:58
