So far love it. Only used it once. It does have a cooler spot between burners but once pan heats up completely it cooks more evenly. Not too heavy which is nice. Handles do get hot so don’t try to move until cooked or it pot holders:) Love being able to cook more pancakes, French toast, etc. at once! Very reasonably priced compared to other similar griddles. Actually, I have a question, but don't know where to address it. So, I will address it here. Even though this is a very nice griddle, I would like to know how the griddle was measured. Your measurements are noted as 20.13". When I measured it, my measurements were 18 1/2". Can someone explain the shortage in the length? Or, did I receive something other than what I ordered? ENGLISH MUFFIN MAGIC ! Wow, do I love this grill. I ordered it because my hubby loves English Muffins - the homemade kind. Hates the store-bought. So, I really got tired of dealing with the oversize frying pan I’d been using and finally decided on trying another grill. HOWEVER...This is not just ‘Any Grill’. It can be used with gas, electric, halogen and ceramic plus its dishwasher safe! With a really busy schedule, this grill is ideal for our needs...especially the super easy clean up! Everything turns out exactly as it should. The grill is deep enough for stir-fry, scrambled eggs, fried eggs, french toast, bacon, hash-browns, pancakes, sausage, and lots more, and most of all, roomy enough to do 8+ English Muffins at a time...even though they don’t last very long since my hubby just about devours them. A really nice feature are the handles. We’ve had stove-top grills before but I just never liked any of them since the handles were always awkward and that design has its challenges when moving the grill while cooking or when storing. The handles on the Viking are a generous size and raised which makes it easy to maneuver it when I’m lining up and filling the English Muffin rings...hooray!...and the combination of the drain channel and corner pour spouts add to this well made, impressively designed non-stick beauty. The size is perfect for our stove top as it lines up with both the front and rear burner with no effort so the heat is always distributed evenly. What a blessing that is!
