Special about this liner is that it is a half-round pencil and not a flat trim piece. The liners are shaped like pencils and it was shaped and carved to look like pencil liners. You can use these glass pencil liners to form a highlighted break or to use it as a border and finish the tile.

The finish on the trim matches perfectly with the Ivy Hill lantern tile (also purchased on Wayfair). One downside, which was my error, is that the side of the tile is a tan color and not white. Not a problem for the side that butts up against the other tiles but not my preferred look for the end of the backsplash. I would have preferred a tile with white on the side but it wasn’t worth ordering something new. Just something to be aware of if you are also looking for a tile to use as a trim.
