This fan is very sleek and will go well with just about any decor. I like the fact that it has non integrated dimmable light bulbs which are included! Smart features are clever and work well with the recommended apps. The remote is convenient, not very well made and other than smart devices, it is the only way to control the functions on the fan out of the box which is why I gave it 4 stars. This could be a techies dream but someone else’s nightmare! This fan DOES NOT work with 3rd party ceiling fan wall controls such as Lutron! There is a wall control switch by Hunter that is said to be compatible but requires batteries and paring with the built in transmitter in the smart fan and it retails for about 60. My husband connected it to a single wall switch that is all or nothing( fan and light on with settings previously set on remote) so I can at least turn on the light when I enter the dark room. We use the app and remote to control the functions. If you just want a nice looking fan that doesn’t require a techie to set up this is not the fan for you but if you are into smart features and are a techie, you’ll love it!. Dionne. Good solid fan just make sure you have a ceiling box that is rated to support the weight of a ceiling fan. I had a professional electrician install mine and I’m glad I did the ceiling box in my daughter’s room was just cheap plastic (intended for a light fixture only), not solid metal that would be needed to support the fan. Love the 6 blades — really gets the air moving. Nice and quiet. The switch to change motor direction from summer to winter is inside under the light dome. The fan arrived promptly. It looks fan-tastic lol. Hunter makes a quality item and it shows. The fan runs quiet however as I’ve noticed with some other leds these lights emit a low hum and not easily dimmed with the existing remote. Finally had this installed today, and it is beautiful, I love it, and I also purchased the Bond device from wayfair in order to control this using my smart phone or my alexa ap and that also went through one two three, now I can voice command this incredible fan to come on , or simply ask it to turn the light on.
