I was so very pleased when I started looking at the brochure directions! They are well done and easy to understand. I build this Factor 8x6ft shed by myself and I am a 60+ female. It is like putting together a puzzle...much fun. I split my puzzle time into two afternoons, followed directions and took my time. It turned out great! The only part when you need 2 people is to attach the roof panels. Most important is to build a level base. I did that with 12"x12" pavers. Honestly, that was the most difficult part of the project. Everything else went very smoothly. The shed is a perfect size for all your garden tools or could be a great playhouse if little children were around! p.s. I was impressed with the door lock/latch because unlike other sheds I had looked at, it is secured within the wall panels of the door so you can add a lock if needed.. Cecile. This Shed is big , it will fit 2 Motorcycles ,a Mower, and a Bench. The Instructions are very well written. This is a two Men job ( though my Husband ,assembled it by him self ) You will need a Phillips screwdriver and a rubber mallet,and a ladder would be helpful. We purchased this as are old 8x8 wood structure shed was 30 years old and needed to be replaced . Wood options were way out of our budget so opted after reading many reviews to go plastic. Have to say I was skeptical. To my surprise it’s spacious, and easy to keep organized and the white panel on the top and the window are nice source of light to see inside. Once it was completed and secured to the base it felt very secure and not flimsy at all. We have had two heavy rains and no leaks. I highly recommend it for the value verses wood structure. We are fingers crossed it makes it through the winter cold temperatures without cracking. The directions were good but definitely is a two or 3 person job. It took 2 full days (picture shows what we accomplished day 1 8hours ). Part of it was making are old base (8x8) still in good condition bigger as this shed is 8.4 ft wide. Did not quite see that until we reread the size in small print under the 8x8. The other issue we live in New England and it’s not exactly warm in the fall so some of the panels were warping , we had to bring them in our house to warm up and soften. Most of this was easy to put together just time consuming. The roof was the hardest and getting the panels to “ slide “ in the groove was not easy. Took us a very long time to get them in and they would pop out and would have to start over. Would I purchase this again Yes , perfect back yard supply storage unit . I bought this shed due to its availability as every other pre-fab shed out there of this size was on backorder due to the supply-chain situation going on in the world today and I needed a shed. It arrived a couple of days early so that was nice! Upon first glance in opening the cartons though, the walls, roof and especially the flooring material is VERY flimsy and I considered returning it. As I said I though, I needed a shed so I decided to keep it and put it together. I did not have a helper so I had to assemble it solo and in retrospect wish I did have help as it took a total of 16 hours to assemble and the instructions were like reading a coloring book; it seems that a couple of steps are out-of-order too, as I had to undo and redo a few to make it work Once I finally finished the build it turns out to be pretty stable with the exception of the floor which was so flimsy and warped and did not have any kind of sealing method between the panels. Luckily I had a roll of Gorilla duct tape and sealed the panels with that. My opening was just 87" so it just barely fit but did fit nicely. I live in the Pacific Northwest so I am now waiting to see how rain-tight it is! As for the foundation, I used concrete pavers but highly recommend laying down a concrete pad allowing at least 6" around the 4 sides first as it would have been much easier. As for the value, I do not believe it is worth what they are asking but as I said, with inflation going through the roof and supply channels being so slow right now it is what it is.. Don. Delivery was good I like the material will update after inspection.. so its up great quality definitely took awhile great instructions you can rush it few minor snags along the way .. and tons of screws with is good I actually did it all myself. Nice shed! The shed is as pictured. Was easy to put together with 2 people. If you are going to paint the walls, I would recommend doing this before you assemble as not all parts are paintable so there's a lot of taping. The door, window and roof are not able to be painted as they are plastic but the trim around the door is paintable and all the wall panels. Happy with his purchase. . jeannette. Relatively easy to set up. A little tricky to do 1 person. It would have been much easier and faster with 2 people. I set it up alone, but had my husband tighten 4 screws in the center ceiling. Overall I am very happy so far with this shed. I found it to be very well thought out. I spent an entire day working on it but I was able to do it on my own. I’m a mechanic and probably spent to much time on detail and reading and rereading instructions however this ended up in no mistakes and a quality job. I wish the corner braces were aluminum too. I used concrete anchors to secure to the slab that has been in my yard for ever. I silocone caulked between the floor and wall panels when done to seal the floor up. I am interested to see how the panels hold up against the ridiculous hail here in Denver and I too am interested to see how it withstands the wind gusts we get here. At first it felt like I was building a shed out of paint pan liners but overall it came together nicely. There was some slight shipping damage to several of the aluminum pieces of the frame which I worked with and one call to Wayfair customerservice got me a prompt discount that made it well worth it to me.
