Very solid desk. Weighed 85 lbs in total, took me an afternoon to put together. Overall I’ve been very happy with it. Couple downsides- the instructions are straightforward but get a little confusing when connecting the tilting desk to the base. Also it’s very heavy- I got it to draw on 11x17 paper and it’s overbuilt for that (I prefer that tho). Wish there was a way to upgrade or add a drafting bar. Its a nice desk and serves its purpose perfectly. I needed another draft desk for my other art projects without constantly clearing my other work spaces. The holes on the stool didnt align perfectly but my husband made it work and when you lift the desk it doesnt glide down easily without assisting it in the back.
