This is so beautiful! I’m in my 60s, and I think I’m pretty handy with tools.  I’ve always liked building things, fixing things, and doing all types of handiwork. I love this trash cabinet! I needed something to keep the dog from getting into the garbage and this size was perfect for where I needed it. It was a little too tall for my liking (came up to be level with the countertops, so I had my husband take the base off and it’s now the perfect height. *Taking the base off did not affect the sturdiness at all*) The “X” on the front does have a little damage that we didn’t notice until it was almost all put together, so definitely check your pieces before you assemble. I bought pre-owned house in 2015 and since then I am continuously improving it often using fast fix and less expensive options because I am retired with limited budget and have to do all these improvements step by step. I never had any leaks in my house because I maintain it very well. But I inherited the ugly, bubbly bottom in my kitchen cabinet under the sink. I bought this mat to hide that terribly looking bottom and this mat serves this purpose very well. I cut it easily for the perfect fit, but it was somewhat challenging for me to install it because I have osmoses water filtering system under the sink. Otherwise it would be no problem.
